Nowadays there are many specifications and details of stripes that need to be taken care of.
There are different types of stripes that can be placed on a suit. To start with we have pinstripes which are very narrow stripes placed at a distance of the eighth part of an inch to half-inch apart. These stripes are available in different colors. Another type is chalk stripe. These are wider than the pin stripes. Chalk stripes give a very irregular look because of its wide gap between stripes and asymmetric patterns. Stripes can be used on both formal as well as informal clothes. Pinstripes can be found on casual sports shirts, t-shirts, and even shorts.
An ideal example for young men can be, to wear a black trouser with fine-gauge pinstriped and a tapered shirt. Another example would be of grey casual jeans cut pair of pants teamed up with distressed chalk stripes worn over an ivory sweater or sports shirt. For older men, a white dress shirt with royal blue pinstripes or a black evening suit with a set of wide white chalk stripes would be ideal.
There are no hard and fast rules to choose the best garment with stripes on it. There are lots of clothes available for men, these garments have stripes including suits, blazers, shirts, and neckties; however, it is very important to choose just the right amount of stripes for the right piece of cloth. Overdoing stripes can be a fashion disaster. The main thing to be kept in mind while wearing striped clothes is that all stripes should be of different shapes and sizes and the colors should complement each other well.
